Game of Thrones Sites – Dubrovnik
The reason we travelled to Dubrovnik, besides the beauty of the city, was to see Game of Thrones filming locations. I wrote about the rest of our time in Dubrovnik here. Jesuit Staircase The location mom really wanted to see was the Jesuit Staircase, which is the location of the Sept of Baelor. This is also the location of Cercei’s walk of shame. Northern Ireland
In the morning we were up early and checking out of the hotel to go and check into our flight to Belfast, Ireland. Once behind security there was time for a quick breakfast. Then hurry up and wait, as airports are so good at. The flight to Ireland and was quick little hop. We quickly went and picked up our rental car. Mom was driving. Poor her. Dubrovnik
Breakfast was included with the hotel. I had a nice meal before heading back to the room to pack my stuff and check out. I wanted to catch the ferry and travel to Hvar, one of the islands near by. I left my luggage at the hotel and caught the bus back into Old Town. I paused at the tours but after learning the prices opted to do my own tour.
