Mom chose Dubrovnik as a travel destination this summer so we could visit some of the Game of Thrones filming location. Want to know about the Game of Thrones locations? Read about it here. After leaving Rome mom and I landed in Dubrovnik. The airport is quite a ways from the city. There are a number of bus lines that go to Old Town and the Bus Station. Game of Thrones Sites – Dubrovnik
The reason we travelled to Dubrovnik, besides the beauty of the city, was to see Game of Thrones filming locations. I wrote about the rest of our time in Dubrovnik here. Jesuit Staircase The location mom really wanted to see was the Jesuit Staircase, which is the location of the Sept of Baelor. This is also the location of Cercei’s walk of shame. Mom expected the staircase to be much longer and was a little disappointed. I’m glad she didn’t expect the Sept of Baelor to be there.
